Golf Son Gual

Son Gual opened in October 2007 and was the dawning of a dream that began in 1995 to design and lay out a high quality golf course. It is set in the grounds of the Finca Son Gual near to the village of Sant Jordi, and in the “Valley of a Thousand Windmills”.

The course was designed by the former German amateur champion, Thomas Himmel and it boasts some wonderful bunkers and more than 1,000 olive trees. Overriding impressions of Son Gual must include the size and quality of the tee boxes and greens, the latter having massive elongated fringes and run-off areas

Holes 7, 14 and 15 will stick in the memory but none more so than the closing hole. The longest hole on the course at 532 meters this par 5 crosses water twice and is a contender for Spains most dramatic 18th hole.

This course is rated as one of the top 100 courses in Europe

Do I Need A Buggy? Son Gual undulates in parts, is not a hilly course, it is easily walkable.
