NATIONAL GOLF RESORT is located in western Lithuania, situated in a geographically favourable location – barely 10 minutes to the centre of Klaipėda city – a vibrant port city with ferry connections to Scandinavia and Germany. Palanga – a seaside town with an airport providing connecting flights to Scandinavia and Europe is also only 10 minutes away. Kaunas – a Ryanair destination – is approximately 2,5 hrs drive from the resort. Being close to the sea gives the National Golf Resort a favourable climate compared to many other Baltic destinations. Klaipeda boasts an unusually low rate of rainfall, with only light snowfall in winter, which is considerably lower than many other northern European destinations. This gives the Resort a longer season with less impact from bad weather.
