Generally perceived as the more challenging of the two Son Antem courses,
Son Antem West is of championship standard and has hosted numerous tournaments. Opened in 2001, the West course is 6,293 metres in length from the championship tees. Being set in typical Mallorcan rural countryside, playing a round in this peaceful environment surrounded by nature is a wonderful experience. Narrow fairways, surrounded by woods and with undulating greens, the Son Antem West course offers a challenging layout. Wildlife, such as hawks, grouse and rabbits will keep you company as you enjoy playing this picturesque course.
The course has large tee boxes and two lakes which come into play on four of the holes. The 5th hole is one of the most interesting, a par-4 with a dogleg to the left, this calls for an accurate second shot over an undulating approach onto a raised green surrounded by bunkers.
Sharing clubhouse facilities with the East course, the large terraces are complimented by an excellent restaurant and bar. Changing rooms are extensive and adjoin the spa / wellness area.
Do I Need a Buggy?
Son Antem West is flat and easily walked. Buggies must be kept to the paths.
